Dear User,
Welcome to the ArcotOTP Demo site. We will show you how you can use your ArcotOTP application to generate One Time Passwords (OTP). We will help you provision new keys onto your device and show you how you can use them.
In this site, we have 2 demonstrations available to you:
- A demo to show you how to use OTP to log into a secure web site.
- A demo to show you how to use OTP at financial institutions.
We assume you already have the ArcotOTP software on your mobile. If
you don't, you can get the latest version from:
- the Apple Store for the iPhone and the iPod Touch.
- the Android Market for Android phones/tablets

In the first demo, we assume the following scenario:
World Travel Inc. is a company that provides travel deals to travel
agents. It wants to make sure that only legitimate customers have
access to its site. The first time you go to the site, you will need
to provision your mobile device with the appropriate OTP keys.
- On your browser, go to: /corp
- Click on the "Signup" button.
- Choose a unique username
- Click on "Continue"
You should see a page that provides you with the following
information:
- Server URL
- User Identifier
- Activation Code
Now, on your mobile device, please open the ArcotOTP application. If
you don't currently have any OTP keys on your mobile, you should be on
a page where you can add a new account. If you already have a key, you
will need to go to this page.
Enter the details provided above on the page where you can add an
account on your mobile. When done, click on the "Add" or "Done"
button.
As long as you have access to the internet on your mobile, you should
be able to get the key.
Go back to the /corp URL in your browser. Enter
the username you had chosen above in the "User Name" field. Generate a
new passcode on your mobile and enter that in the "One-Time Passcode"
field and you should be able to log into the web site!
Our second demo is pretty similar to the first one. However, we use
different underlying algorithms in this case - ones that have been
standardized on by MasterCard and Visa. The first part of this demo is
exactly the same as the corporate demo, so we won't repeat the steps
here. The one thing you need to remember, is instead of going to the /corp
web site for key provisioning/usage, you go to /bank.
You can also use the card to make money transfers in your bank account
by clicking on the transfer link after you log in.
In addition to allowing you to securely log into your
bank web site, you can also use the newly provisioned card in making
secure payments at merchant sites using your Visa or MasterCard keys.
To do that, go to the merchant web site in your
browser. Purchase some items and try to checkout. During checkout, you
will be asked for an OTP, which you can generate with your bank
supplied OTP card.
